Clarification from the Day 1 thread: By saying "You may not place the exit in the same space twice.", this does indeed mean that once a square has been selected for/already had an exit, it may never again be selected as an exit.

Do we still have access to our old abilities as a Maze-Runner? Ie, Prodigy, Genius, etc
Because if not, this seems like it could be a very short and unhealthy game for us. XD

I did my best to make it so that you guys wouldn't just up and die immediately.
"Hey genius how many squares for you?" "Uh... twelve."

forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?p=10619176#post10619176I asked: "How much info will we be given on the locations of other groups? Only those in the same zone? Also groups in adjacent zones? No info at all?"Response: "The labyrinth is a big place. Even in the span of one location, there are many paths, forks, and plazas. That being said, it would be quite easy to never see another group in The Labyrinth again. Once you split up today, no information will be given on locations of other groups.
Keep in mind that your group and/or location does not in any way limit targeting of abilities or other such things, unless specifically noted in the ability itself."

Rend, a followup: Does this clarification also apply to us? (That is, we also will not know the locations of the other groups in the future?)

Yes, it does. You will know where your group is, and thus you'll know the locations of any groups you happen to be a part of. The other ones will not be confirmable.

I think what this means is that if one group has a Crazy and one doesn't that they could end up in two different locations.

Giant AIM clarification because I was confused as fuck so I'm sure someone else will be.
This is all about exit square placement.
(Exit square order on Day 1) Spectrum (7:30:05 PM): Okay, so say we move it to 8 for argument's sake Spectrum (7:30:14 PM): Day 2, people are standing in 8 already, they get the choice to exit. Spectrum (7:30:27 PM): What about people in 13 who move North to 8 as their Day 2 action? Rend (7:30:56 PM): clarification denied. Spectrum (7:31:18 PM): ...but you just said "anyone who moves to Zone 2 the next night will be in the exit square" =X Spectrum (7:31:24 PM): I thought I was re-stating that Rend (7:31:42 PM): Alright, lets see if i can restate my meaning. Spectrum (7:31:46 PM): Did you mean, anyone who was already moving to that square will be at the exit? Rend (7:31:49 PM): Tonight, you pick square 8. Rend (7:32:07 PM): Anyone who moves INTO square 8 with tomorrow's movement (not tonight's) will be in the exit square Rend (7:32:24 PM): likewise, anyone who for any reason ends up in square 8 on DAY 3 (after night 2) will be in the exit square Rend (7:32:34 PM): does that make sense? Spectrum (7:32:57 PM): Ohh, okay, so what he said is technically accurate. What about people who end up there on Day 2? That's your clarification denied, right? Rend (7:33:31 PM): no, they will be unaware. Rend (7:33:49 PM): clarification denied for people who start their movement in square 8 on day 2 and move away Spectrum (7:33:58 PM): Okay Rend (7:33:59 PM): so they leave the exit square as you lay it down Rend (7:34:05 PM): that's Clarification: Denied Rend (7:34:07 PM): make sense? Spectrum (7:34:10 PM): Yes. Rend (7:34:16 PM): Excellent Spectrum (7:34:17 PM): So it does take a day to kick in. Basically, on Day 2, the exit square is still technically in Square 1? Rend (7:34:30 PM): yes. If someone made it to square one tonight,. Rend (7:34:34 PM): they would be in the exit square Spectrum (7:34:52 PM): That is the square that will be indicated to Geniuses, correct? Rend (7:34:56 PM): Yes. Spectrum (7:34:59 PM): Okay, thank you =) Rend (7:35:06 PM): That gives geniuses a 1 day window to find and get to the square. Spectrum (7:35:30 PM): Er, does it? Spectrum (7:35:45 PM): I guess it does, since we have to move the exit every day Rend (7:35:51 PM): yes, because they are informed of how many squares away the exit is GOING to be the next night. Spectrum (7:36:07 PM): Oh. Huh. Rend (7:36:14 PM): That's the point of it taking a day Rend (7:36:23 PM): to give people a chance to escape Rend (7:36:28 PM): otherwise the information would be worthless Spectrum (7:36:39 PM): Yeah, that's what I was thinking Spectrum (7:37:34 PM): So, let's say we have a Genius in 13 who is stationary for this exercise. Let's say we put orders in to move the exit from 1->2, 2->7, 7->8 for Day 1, Day 2, Day 3. Spectrum (7:38:00 PM): He will get a report on Day 2 for 3 squares (square 2), Day 3 for 2 squares (square 7), Day 4 for 1 square (square 8) Rend (7:38:22 PM): yes. Spectrum (7:38:28 PM): Thank you =) Rend (7:38:30 PM): and if he chose the correct direction on day 4, Rend (7:38:33 PM): he would be in the exit. Spectrum (7:38:49 PM): The exits will actually be... Spectrum (7:39:02 PM): Day 2 - Square 1, Day 3 - Square 2, Day 4 - Square 7, Day 5 - Square 8
